Blind Corner Literary Magazine: Editor

In this position I read through submissions to Blind Corner Literary Magazine and offer input on which stories should be published in each issue.   

The Emerson Review: Editor-in-Chief

In this position I remain in constant contact with authors who have submitted to our publication.  I also oversee all aspects of the club from submission and meetings, to design and printing.  

Her Campus Media: Community Management Intern

I oversaw the Sister Chapter Program.  I also worked on chapter expansion and would email school faculty to try to create new chapters at schools that did not have active chapters.  In addition, I would work on the weekly chapter newsletter and helped recruit influencers for Her Campus' InfluenceHer collective. In the latter internship, I worked with updating information in spreadsheets, creating newsletters, and continuing to advise chapters. 

Her Campus: Campus Correspondent, Chapter Advisor, and Region Leader

As a Campus Correspondent (CC), I run day-to-day operations on campus, as well as having a direct communication with our national chapter.  In addition to working as the CC for Emerson's chapter, I am a Chapter Advisor for Her Campus Nationals.  I advise up to 10 chapters at other Colleges and Universities per semester.  As a Region Leader, I manage a team of up to 10 Chapter Advisors.

Undergraduate Students for Publishing–Wilde Press Inc.: Head Copyeditor and Design team member

Under the copyediting team, I copyedit one of the manuscripts chosen for errors and send it back to the author for edits.  I also proofread the manuscript I did not work on after the authors have made all the necessary edits.  For the Design Team, I work with a group of other students to design the covers for the manuscripts that are being published.

Her Campus: High School Ambassador Advisor

Through this program, I act as a mentor to students currently in high school applying to college.  These students are part of the Her Campus network and complete assignments as part of the program, which I look at and provide feedback on.

Bites of Boston: Campus Liaison

I reach out to members of the Emerson community to raise awareness for the company Bites of Boston to help better their marketing on campus and to gain more traction in the college market.

Gauge Magazine: Copyeditor

Near the end of each semester, I am sent the final versions for the content going into the magazine.  I am tasked with editing the pieces and sending them back to the authors for final revisions before they make their way into the publication.

I serve as the point of contact for residents in the 2 Boylston Place Resident Hall.  I complete weekly duty shifts where I am on call, as well as run programs and create bulletin boards for residents to learn from and enjoy.

I sign in guests and tap student IDs at the security checkpoint for students and guests before entering the building.

Temporary position​ at which I provide customer service and answer questions about student loans as well as take applications for them over the phone.  I have also worked in Education Refinance Loans and Personal Loans. Additionally, I was asked to train new-hires during my time here, because of my advanced knowledge and understanding about the position and products. In my most recent time in this position, I worked as a member of the Priority Assistance (supervising) team and specialized in online chat interactions with customers. 

 

Emerson College: Undergraduate Admissions Student Call Center

I answer questions about Undergraduate Admissions at Emerson College via phone calls and emails from perspective students, parents, and school councilors.

I was a first point of contact and mentor for incoming students during their first year of college.  I also helped run orientation events for new students on campus and assisted with student move-in.

I assisted customers in finding the right accessories and products.  In addition, I would help customers cash out and organize merchandise. On certain days, I would also open and close the store.

Rhode Island Cosmetic Dentistry: Receptionist

I would welcome patients into the office and escort them to their exam rooms.  In addition I would clean and organize exam rooms after each patient had been seen.  After their appointments, I would collect co-payments as necessary.
